The Signia Kit Active is an earbud-style, ready-to-wear hearing aid designed to combine discreet everyday styling with hearing technology for users who want an alternative to traditional hearing aids. Signia states that Active is suitable for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss and is available in two performance levels, Active and Active Pro. The device uses Signia’s Xperience technology platform to provide prescription sound and support speech understanding across different acoustic environments, with automatic situation detection helping the hearing aid adjust its sound processing according to the surrounding listening conditions. Its earbud-inspired design provides an instant-fit experience, with soft silicone Click Sleeves designed to support comfort and retention in the ear. The Signia Active also provides Bluetooth streaming, allowing compatible users to stream phone calls and audio, while the Signia App provides remote control and access to the Signia Assistant, which can help personalize sound according to individual preferences and real-life listening situations. The rechargeable hearing aid uses a lithium-ion battery and comes with a pocket-sized charging case designed for charging on the go. According to Signia, Active provides up to 26 hours of listening time per charge, or up to 23 hours when two hours of streaming are included, while a 30-minute fast charge can provide up to five hours of regular listening or three hours of streaming. The charging case can provide up to three full charges for a pair of Active hearing aids and can itself be charged through USB-C or Qi wireless charging. The Signia Active can also work with accessories including StreamLine Mic for hands-free calls, music and remote-microphone functionality and StreamLine TV for direct television audio streaming.
